The real thing
A London Underground train design with all its electrical equipment under the floor, a big step forward in its day. 1,121 cars were built by Metro-Cammell and Birmingham RC&W, and they ran on the Underground until 1988. Ten sets then carried on as Class 483 on the Isle of Wight until January 2021.
