The real thing
The Evero, a bi-mode multiple unit built by Hitachi Rail for Avanti West Coast. 13 five-car units replaced Class 221s between London Euston, Birmingham, Chester and the North Wales Coast. They ended long-distance diesel running on electrified lines.
